At URBaCS we work to be as transparent as possible. We are building this company through the permission-based marketing principles from Seth Godin and the Getting Real philosophies from 37Signals. We hope to share our wins and losses along the way.

Usage details:
We wanted to share our results with you for one of our home builder clients, Estridge. They have been using the URBaCS Referral Builder application for just over one month.

We issued a press release on PRWeb.com, did a blog post about the launch, and Estridge posted about it on their blog. The rest of the traffic came from search engines and word-of-mouth (homeowners and prospective home buyers can send links to friends from inside the system).

In the first 30 days, we had almost 400 unique visitors that generated over 10,000 pageviews.

The Press Release was viewed over 1,000 times and the headline was loaded over 50,000 times.

We didn’t have the luxury of time for search engines to thoroughly crawl the site or the luxury of any initial incoming links to increase PageRank.

Overall, I’d definitely call this a success.

As more and more homeowners use the site and the content gets indexed we hope to raise our numbers to 30-50k pageviews a month.
