Personal Websites for Homeowners
In August of 2008 we launched MyEstridgeHome.com for the Estridge Companies. The website was designed to empower Estridge homeowners to share their building experience with friends and family.
We set it up so they could give each homeowner their own website to upload and tag photos of their home before, during and after construction. Each homeowner can choose their own private URL that they can share with friends and family. As photos are uploaded the site automatically adds them to the homeowner’s galleries and slideshows.
In one year, we’ve recorded just under 80,000 pageviews from over 3,500 unique visitors. Aside from a footer link on Estridge.com the traffic was generated directly from word-of-mouth. Building a home is a very big and very personal process and MyEstridgeHome lets homeowners share their dream home with the world.
